Larry May

   Larry May is the owner of FMS. He is a graduate of Ohio State University, with a B.S. in Education. Additional studies include MBA graduate work at the University of Tennessee, and leadership studies at the Covey Institute.
    In addition to owning the business, Larry is a long time Rotarian, having been the President of two different clubs. He and his wife are avid supporters of Young Life and are involved in the local Young Life committee. He is also a fervent baseball fan, having played college baseball and coached over 20 years. Larry also enjoys history and presidential studies.
    He is married to Valerie, also owner of FMS, and has three children, Tiffany, Travis, and Tori.   Tiffany and Travis have recently graduated from the University of Tennessee, and Tori is presently a student there.

Valerie May

   Valerie, along with being the owner of FMS with her husband Larry, is also the editor of Bargain Book News, the remainder industry's premier newsletter. Following a degree in Communications from the University of Tennessee, Valerie's career focuses mainly in the communication industry.
   She currently oversees the advertising for FMS and for our annual remainder-book shows.  Valerie is also a devoted supporter of Young Life, a non-profit organization aimed at high school age kids.  She deeply enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with her three children, Tiffany, Travis, and Tori.

Barb Smith

   Barb Smith is the National Logistics Manager at FMS and has been with our company for seven years.  She is an accounting major.
   She and husband Mike have a daughter, Lynsey, who is attending the University of Tennessee.  Barb's hobbies include tennis, reading, and boating.

Cathie Eargle

   Cathie Eargle is our customer care manager at FMS. She has worked for the company nearly 15 years.
   Cathie is a graduate from Mary Hardin Baylor University with a degree in education. She taught at elementary schools for twelve years in Texas and Oklahoma. Cathie’s husband Jon is a minister, author, and seminar speaker.  She also has two children, Todd and Lisa, and one grandson.  Outside of work Cathie enjoys music, sports, reading, working with people, and especially being a grandmother.

Tommy Wilhoit

   Tommy Wilhoit is a graduate from the University of Tennessee with a degree in accounting.  He is our National Accounts Coordinator.
   Tommy volunteers with the Knoxville Rescue Squad as a diver and is an Emergency Medical Technician with the Fire Department.  When he is not working, he enjoys playing hockey with his younger brother.

Fred Graves

   Fred Graves is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with his degree in Business. He has worked with the FMS team for eight years as the A.R manager. Fred enjoys watching all sports, but particularly basketball, which he refereed locally for several years.
   Fred enjoys reading, with one of his favorite authors being David MCullough. Fred has been married to his wife Billie for 50 years. He has two children, David and Debra, and four Grandchildren. He has been a member of his church, Fountain City United Methodist, for 75 years, one of the longest members they have ever had. He is also a member of a local club called ROMEO, Retired Old Men Eating Out.

Travis May

   Travis May is a graduate of the University of Tennessee.  Travis is also involved in a couple of non-profit organizations: Young Life, which is an organization aimed towards high school students; and Lost Sheep, where he feeds the homeless in the inner-city. Travis’ interests are sports, friendships, and family.

Tamra Young

   Tamra Young has recently joined the Freight Management Systems team after having spent seven years at Old Dominion Freight Lines.  She works in the FMS freight-routing department, as well as answering calls in customer service.
   Tamra has recently become engaged to be married, and her future husband is a professional chef.

   Kathleen Fitzwater is the newest addition to the FMS team.  She specializes in Accounts Receivable.   Her hobbies include reading and gardening.

Tiffany May

   Tiffany May is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a major in Communication Studies.  She is presently taking graduate courses at UT.     She works with FMS in the  marketing and promotions department.
   Tiffany passionately enjoys traveling, having spent several months with her brother in Australia.  In addition, she enjoys reading, writing, and post-graduate college life.

Tori May

   Tori May is a student at the University of Tennessee. Tori is currently majoring in advertising, but is also very passionate about languages.  In addition, she volunteers several hours a week to work for a non-profit organization called Young Life.
   Tori sincerely loves to be a part of sporting events --  she has worked as a football trainer and has kept score at high school baseball games, and she has never missed a home football game at UT during her time as a student there. She also enjoys reading, J.K Rowling being one of her favorite authors.

   Cary Campbell is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, with a degree in Math.  He is the IT manager for Freight Management Systems.  When not working, he enjoys hiking and cycling.

Lynsey Smith

   Lynsey Smith is a student at the University of Tennessee, majoring logistics and transportation and is working as an intern at FMS. She is active in her home community - Director of Keep Union County Beautiful and a member of the Board of Directors for United Way of Union County and the Business & Professionals of Union County.

Lynsey enjoys horseback riding, skiing and rock climbing.
 

Joey Wilhoit

   Joey Wilhoit is a student at the University of Tennessee.  He expects to graduate in the summer of 2007 with a major in logistics and transportation.  When he is not working, he enjoys playing hockey and camping.
